What is Hyalual Electri?

Hyalual Electri is an injectable skin booster or redermalisation treatment that combines hyaluronic acid with succinic acid. It is commonly used to support skin hydration, glow, smoother-looking texture, fine-line appearance and selected delicate under-eye skin-quality concerns.

Hyalual Electri is not a facial, peel, laser or structural filler. It is an injectable treatment placed into the skin through small injection points. The goal is to improve skin quality rather than reshape the face.

At Klinik Dr Diana, Electri is considered only after checking your concern properly. Dullness, dark eye circles, uneven tone and tired-looking skin can have different causes, so the treatment should be matched to the diagnosis rather than chosen by trend.

What you need to know

Hyalual Electri is best understood as a skin-quality treatment, not a face-shaping filler or guaranteed dark-circle treatment. It may support hydration, radiance, texture and fine-line appearance when the concern matches what the treatment can realistically do.

  • It combines hyaluronic acid and succinic acid.
  • It is injected into selected skin layers using small injection points.
  • It is usually discussed for hydration, glow, fine lines and texture.
  • It may be considered around the under-eye area in selected patients.
  • It does not replace filler for hollowing or laser/medical care for pigmentation.
  • Suitability depends on skin condition, anatomy, sensitivity and medical history.

Why does Hyalual Electri combine hyaluronic acid and succinic acid?

Hyaluronic acid helps bind water in the skin, while succinic acid is used for its antioxidant and skin-revitalising role. Together, they are intended to support hydration, skin recovery and a fresher-looking complexion.

Hyaluronic acid is widely used in aesthetic medicine because it helps improve water balance and skin plumpness. Succinic acid is included in Electri as part of its redermalisation concept, with the aim of supporting skin metabolism and reducing oxidative stress.

This does not mean every patient will see the same result. Skin quality, sleep, sun exposure, inflammation, pigmentation tendency and under-eye anatomy all affect what treatment can realistically achieve.

What can Hyalual Electri help with?

Hyalual Electri may help selected patients with dehydrated-looking skin, dullness, fine lines, rough texture and tired-looking under-eye skin. It is most suitable when the concern is mainly skin quality rather than deep volume loss or structural sagging.

  • Dry or dehydrated-looking skin
  • Dull or tired-looking complexion
  • Fine lines related to skin quality
  • Rough or uneven-feeling texture
  • Under-eye skin quality in selected patients
  • Early signs of skin fatigue
  • Glow maintenance when skin is suitable
Hyalual Electri benefits showing hydration, glow, smoother texture and under-eye skin quality

Hyalual Electri is commonly discussed for hydration, glow, fine-line appearance, smoother texture and selected under-eye skin-quality concerns.

If your main concern is melasma, pigmentation, acne scars, true tear-trough hollowness, eye bags or loose skin, another treatment plan may be more appropriate.

How does Hyalual Electri treatment work?

Hyalual Electri is injected into selected superficial skin layers to support hydration and skin-quality improvement from within. Treatment planning depends on the area, skin sensitivity, under-eye anatomy and the reason your skin looks tired or dull.

The injection approach may involve small papules or microinjection points. This is why temporary bumps, redness or bruising can happen after treatment.

1. Consultation and skin assessment

Doctor assessing skin hydration, dullness and under-eye concerns before Hyalual Electri treatment

Step 1 - Skin hydration, texture, under-eye anatomy and treatment goals are assessed before Hyalual Electri is recommended.

The doctor checks whether your concern is caused by dehydration, fine lines, pigmentation, hollowing, puffiness, skin thinning or lifestyle factors. This matters especially for the under-eye area, where different causes need different treatments.

2. Cleansing and treatment planning

Facial cleansing and treatment mapping before Hyalual Electri skin booster injections

Step 2 - The skin is cleansed and treatment points are planned according to skin condition and anatomy.

The skin is cleansed and the treatment area is prepared. The doctor decides where small injection points should be placed and whether Electri is suitable around delicate areas such as the under-eye zone.

3. Hyalual Electri microinjections

Step 3 - Hyalual Electri is injected using small, controlled injection points based on the treatment plan.

Small injections are placed into selected skin layers. You may feel brief stinging or pressure. Comfort measures may be discussed depending on the treatment area and your sensitivity.

4. Review and aftercare

Post-treatment review and aftercare after Hyalual Electri skin booster treatment

Step 4 - The skin is reviewed and aftercare advice is given to support comfort and recovery.

After treatment, small bumps, mild redness, swelling, bruising or tenderness may occur. These are usually temporary. You will be advised on skincare, sunscreen and what to avoid after treatment.

Hyalual Electri vs filler

Face-shaping effectNot designed to reshape the faceCan support contour when placed appropriately
Common concernDullness, dehydration, fine lines, tired skinHollows, folds, contour loss, projection

Is Hyalual Electri good for dark eye circles?

Hyalual Electri may help some under-eye concerns when the problem is related to dehydration, fine lines or poor skin quality. It may not help much if dark circles are mainly caused by hollowness, veins, pigmentation, eye bags or facial anatomy.

This is why dark eye circles should be assessed before treatment. Under-eye skin is delicate, and the wrong treatment can cause puffiness, unevenness or disappointment.

Can Hyalual Electri help pigmentation or melasma?

Hyalual Electri should not be treated as a primary pigmentation or melasma treatment. It may support overall skin radiance, but dark patches need diagnosis first because melasma, PIH, sun spots and other pigmentation types behave differently.

For Asian and pigmentation-prone skin, any injectable treatment can trigger inflammation, bruising or post-inflammatory hyperpigmentation in some patients. A careful plan is important.

Who may be suitable for Hyalual Electri?

Hyalual Electri may suit selected adults who want skin hydration, glow, smoother-looking texture or under-eye skin-quality support without adding facial volume. Suitability depends on assessment.

It may be considered for patients with dehydrated-looking skin, tired-looking skin, fine lines or dullness who understand that results are gradual and maintenance may be needed.

Who may not be suitable?

Hyalual Electri may be unsuitable for patients who are pregnant or breastfeeding, have active infection or inflammation, significant under-eye swelling tendency, poorly controlled skin disease, certain allergies, or expectations that do not match what the treatment can realistically do.

It may also be the wrong choice if the main issue is deep tear-trough hollowing, significant eye bags, severe pigmentation, acne scars or facial volume loss.

What results can you realistically expect?

Hyalual Electri results are usually about skin quality rather than facial reshaping. Suitable patients may notice fresher hydration, smoother texture, improved glow or softer-looking fine lines, but results vary.

The manufacturer reports hydration improvement data after treatment, but individual results depend on skin condition, injection technique, aftercare and biological response. Avoid expecting a guaranteed percentage improvement or a permanent result.

A realistic results timeline

TimingWhat may happen
Immediately afterSmall bumps, redness, swelling or injection marks may be visible.
First few daysTemporary swelling, bruising or tenderness may settle gradually.
Following weeksHydration, glow and texture may begin to look better in suitable patients.
Maintenance phaseRepeat treatment should be planned only after reassessment of response and skin needs.

What are the possible side effects?

Common short-term effects include small injection bumps, redness, swelling, bruising, tenderness, itching or sensitivity. Under-eye treatment can sometimes cause temporary puffiness, especially in patients prone to fluid retention.

Less common concerns include infection, prolonged swelling, unevenness, allergic-type reaction or post-inflammatory hyperpigmentation in prone skin. Contact the clinic if swelling is severe, pain worsens, skin colour changes, or symptoms do not settle as advised.
